Download and installation

Please download the latest version of quickSMTP which you will receive as a self-installing executable file that you need to start on your Windows machine. Installation is fully automatic and will take less than a minute. If you do not have the required .NET framework v4.5, it will be downloaded and installed for you automatically.

Basic requirements

Your machine should match the following basic requirements:

Windows 7 or newer (recommended, XP/Vista are also fine)
Microsoft .NET framework v4.5 or newer
20MB of disk space for the program and its files
Additional disk space depending on the volume of emails

Important bugfix! There was a bug in version 0.2 that would cause quickSMTP to consume a lot of resources when a client connects to SSL POP3 or SMTP and does not comply with the protocol commands. We recommend you to upgrade
